Teresa "Fang Fang " Bartlinski

Teresa was born on December 25, 2006 in China. She was born with a very complex heart condition. In July 2010, GOD added Teresa to our family through adoption. We have been blessed with 9 wonderful children. Gods grace has woven us together as a family. Upon bringing Teresa home from China we unfortunately learned she not only needed a heart transplant but also a lung transplant. Her doctors feel she would not survive this operation. Please help us to pray for a miracle for Teresa's heart and lungs to be healed. She is a very special little soul who has touched so many lives around the world ...

Eyes wide open

Look who opened her eyes all the way today!  I wish I could say she was happy but she was not.  She does not like anything in her mouth.  She becomes very scared and puckers up her little lip and cries silent tears.  It breaks my heart.
The great news is she was stable today and had NO emergencies!   Praying for kidney function to improve!  Tomorrow she will rest and prepare for surgery on Monday to repair the left atrium.

Oh Teresa sweetheart, I know how scared you must feel with all these foreign tubes everywhere. I hope that they keep her comfortable while she is still on vent. But, its a great sign that she's opening her eyes. She's been through a lot. Praying that surgery on Monday will fix everything and little miss Teresa can look forward to better days ahead. Praying
that she gets a lot of rest today, so she can go into tomorrow as strong as possible. We are all keeping your sweet princess wrapped around our arms as we pray for comfort for Miss Teresa!! Stay strong!!! You can do this!!!

I bet it was wonderful to see her eyes opened despite the tears...to know your little girl is responding is such a wonderful thing that only God can do. We prayed at church for her this morning. Going into the surgery remember, Teresa has proven time and time again to be a fighter...she is the boss and God knows the plans for her...plans to shout out her love for everyone.
