Teresa "Fang Fang " Bartlinski

Teresa was born on December 25, 2006 in China. She was born with a very complex heart condition. In July 2010, GOD added Teresa to our family through adoption. We have been blessed with 9 wonderful children. Gods grace has woven us together as a family. Upon bringing Teresa home from China we unfortunately learned she not only needed a heart transplant but also a lung transplant. Her doctors feel she would not survive this operation. Please help us to pray for a miracle for Teresa's heart and lungs to be healed. She is a very special little soul who has touched so many lives around the world ...

Cherry Blossom Festival

Teresa is having another wonderful week . She looks great and has so much energy .
For someone who's oxygen is between 75-80 , I am amazed at how well she functions on a daily basis . She does not want to miss anything !

Living so close to DC. I have always wanted to see The Cherry Blossom Festival but have never gotten around to it . These past 8 months with Teresa we have tried to let her experience everything possible, so we decided since she was feeling so well and the weather was suppose to be beautiful we would go .

She loved all of the sites and had a fantastic time making her own little kite to fly !

We stopped at DC. cupcakes on the way home . The girls were so excited ... until we drove by and saw the enormous line, over a 2 hour wait . Maybe next time .

It should be no secret that we consider you guys to be incredibly brave....but having had to travel to DC on business - by car - and then spend time driving around the city....you would drive there for fun? ;) You guys really are BRAVE!!

Looks like it was a lot of fun to me - and the cupcakes are good - but not worth two hours!

hugs - aus and co.

Our dream is to drive across country in an RV and go to DC. Someday soon, I hope!

Looks like everyone had a great time!

What a wonderful outing! so glad Teresa is doing well this week. I pray for her as she comes to mind.

My husband is in D.C. a lot and hoped to visit D.C. Cupcakes next week for my little girls. I will have to warn him that the line is DAUNTING!

How funny...I've been lurking on your blog for a while and am in your photo of the line a Georgetown Cupcake. Apparently the line is always like that at the Georgetown branch but, if you have the extra time to drive to Bethesda, their Bethesda branch has a much shorter line!

The line is always super long. You can order the cupcakes offline a day ahead of time and just walk in and pick them up.
