Blind Surrender

Do you ever feel like life is so heavy you forget how to smile ?
That's kinda how life is right now . At times having fun seems so frivolous when other things in our life are so heavy and weighing us down .

It is really hard to believe that five years ago our future was so strategically planned with dreams of retirement, vacations and financial freedom . Now are dreams have completely changed . I am happy if we can make it through the day without any medical or financial crisis . Our future is totally dependent on GOD to meet our needs for each day .
Teresa's life is so fragile we have had to find peace in knowing GOD is in control of her life . Blind Surrender...the hardest thing we have ever done.

"To surrender to GOD means that we offer HIM our will , our reason , our life. We do this in pure faith , even if our soul is in darkness. Truly ,trials and suffering are the surest test of blind surrender. "- Mother Teresa

  3. Morning Ann - we get that - I had thought that when I was 50 I might visit the Great Wall on a vacation....and instead visited the 6 Banyan temple for the 2nd time in three years....I thought I'd be a 2nd career guy basking in a little financial freedom, and instead am really glad that tomorrow is pay day!

And sometimes the weight is heavy - almost too much to carry....

But - then I see those smiles - and I know that for however long I'm granted - those smiles are mine to hold....

And then I understand what joy is...in those smiles I get a little preview of how it will feel when I hear "Well done son - come and accept your reward"

As always you guys are in our hearts and prayers - hugs - aus and co.

  9. Dear Friends,

We are aching with you as we follow closely the journey you are on as a family. I once heard it said so beautifully that we should live our lives with such obedience and abandon that we would be utterly ruined if "God didn't show up" to meet our needs. As we try to live that way and as we see you doing the same we're encouraged by your faithfulness! May He continue to give you that faith and to grant you the abundant mercy you need to walk through this together. Surrendered fully to His plan leaves you in the care of the only One who can meet your every need. Each day there are many of us who carry your family before the Father to ask for His grace to multiply in your lives...we will continue to do so! You are loved!
