The Moon

The past week has been pretty uneventful . Teresa has had some really good days . After coming home from the hospital she was growing stronger every day . Then a few days ago she started sneezing again and is now coughing. Her sats. were climbing back to her base line of around 80 but the past few days she has dropped back to the low 70's and upper 60's (not good). The cold weather is also making her appear very blue.

We are heading back to CHOP in a few weeks to see DR. Rychik again. The dosage of her medicine will slowly be increased to 3 times the level she is taking now. So far she has not had any side effects and is doing very well on it.

Her English continues to amaze me . She no longer speaks in Chinese but can still understand it .
Her favorite saying is " What ISSS that?"
With everything that is new to her she will say this. She wants to know everything. My favorite so far is the moon. A few weeks ago we had come home after dark and as I was getting her out of the car she looked up in the sky at the full moon and said "What ISSSS that?" She has lived 3 3/4 years and never seen the moon before.
We make it a point now to go outside after dark and look at the moon and the stars. It's incredible to think of so many things we just take for granted. The other night there was a beautiful sunset with bright pink clouds , Teresa said" look princess clouds" .

Her vision of life is priceless.

Praying for this nasty cold to go away and not keep coming back .
